Severus II, 306-307. Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 8.49 g, 6 h), Ticinum. IMP SEVERVS P F AVG Laureate head of Severus II to right. Rev. VIRTVS AV-GG ET CAESS NN / ST Severus on horseback galloping right, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left, riding down an enemy kneeling to left; below horse, a fallen enemy, holding sword in his right hand, and a shield. RIC 81. Sharply struck and attractive. Struck from a slightly clashed reverse die, otherwise, extremely fine.
